As December progresses, we are as busy as little elves in the Early Learning Center. The last ART BOX for our service project will be packed tomorrow, filled with playdough, paints, crayons, markers, chalk, glue, tablets, stickers and other surprises. Judith will deliver these to an agency on Friday afternoon, which will give them to social workers to pass onto homeless children. It has been a meaningful project, as our young children try to imagine going through a day or a week or longer without even a crayon or paper to draw upon. We are finishing our surprises for our families, which will go home on Thursday. We hope you enjoy them for many years!
With our fresh beginning in 2008, we will continue our Celebrations of Light by talking about New Year's Eve, followed by the African American cultural celebration of Kwanzaa. We'll be sending home more information in January!
From the ELC, we send you wishes of joy and peace. All is calm, all is bright...
